Connect your CRM (ADF/XML lead delivery)

Send every lead from your pages into VinSolutions, eLead, DealerSocket, CDK or any CRM that accepts ADF/XML — by email, by POST, or both.

Where it lives

Inventory → CRM (business accounts on the Vertical plan, or a page that was granted CRM delivery). The panel is called “CRM lead delivery”.

Only the account admin can change the connection. Team members see “Your account admin manages this connection.”

Step 1 — ADF/XML lead routing email (required)

Ask your CRM provider or GM for the store's ADF lead email (it usually looks like leads@yourstore.crm). Paste it into “ADF/XML lead routing email for your CRM”.

Give your CRM rep the sender address shown in the panel (hi@updates.frddy.io) so our leads are allowed through.

Step 2 — Optional copies and endpoint

“Also send a copy of every lead to” — add GM / sales manager / BDC emails one at a time with Add. They receive a plain, readable email, not the ADF version.

“CC the team member who received the lead” — on by default; the salesperson gets a readable copy at their profile email.

“Lead endpoint (optional)” — an HTTPS URL. We POST the same ADF/XML document there with Content-Type application/xml, plus an X-Frddy-Lead header carrying the salesperson, page URL, dealership and source as JSON.

“Which CRM?” is a free-text hint for your own records.

Step 3 — Turn on and test

Press “Turn on delivery” (later “Save changes”). The panel shows an “On” badge when delivery is active.

Press “Send a test lead”. A lead named “Test Lead” (test-lead@frddy.io) is delivered to every configured channel and appears under “Recent deliveries” marked “· test”. Ask your CRM rep to confirm it arrived.

What every lead carries

The customer's name, email, phone and message; the vehicle (year, make, model, trim, VIN, stock, price) when the lead came from an inventory block or a form with vehicle fields.

Attribution: the salesperson's name, page URL, email and phone (if set) as the ADF <vendor><contact>; the dealership or store name as <vendorname>; FRDDY as <provider>; and a comments line “Attributed to <name> via frddy.io/<slug>” plus “Source: Freddy.io Link in Bio (frddy:<slug>)”.

Retries and status

A delivery is “Delivered” when every configured channel accepted it. If email or the endpoint fails, the row shows “Retrying” and we retry automatically up to 5 attempts; after that it reads “Gave up” with the last error available on hover.

Page-level destinations: a page with its own CRM email/endpoint delivers there first and, when “Also deliver to the store's CRM” is on (default), also to the business destination. Pages without their own destination use the business destination.
